Summer Reading Club

Get ready to have fun all season long with summer programs for kids and families. Gear up for adventures at KIDSTOGETHER Library with stories, imagination and fun activities!

Kids can sign up at their nearest KIDSTOGETHER CENTERS starting Friday, June 16 until the end of the summer. Once registered, club members can attend free events and earn a Summer Reading Club medal by reading for at least 15 minutes a day for 50 days.

Program Highlights

"Biome Bonanza"

Explore biomes such as forests and deserts! Make a mini model and learn about plants and creatures with iPads. For Ages 2-12.


"Escape the Wild Woods"

Are you lost? Work together to find hidden clues and solve puzzles to escape the wild woods of the library. For Ages 2-12.


"Seeds and Senses"

Tap into your senses! Create your own recipes, start a mini herb garden and make a seed necklace. For Ages 2-12.


"Storm Watchers"

Journey to the eye of the storm! Investigate wild weather with stories, experiments and your own windsock. For Ages 2-12.


"Tracks and Trails"

What's in your backyard? Learn about animal tracks, make hand imprints and create a nature notebook. For Ages 2-12.


Tips for Parents:

  • Reading helps Kids maintain and improve their reading skills and dedication ability. Even reading 15 minutes a day makes difference.
  • To keep kids reading regularly, it’s important to make it fun. Invite them to read whatever they want, whether it’s a book, audio book, ebook or magazine.
