Storytogether® classes develop kids literacy & language skills

Storytogether® Story time

Storytogether® programs at Kidstogether® kids library are for adults with young children of all ages and abilities to come and listen to stories, sing songs and learn finger plays and movement rhymes in a group setting.

At Storytogether®, parents and caregivers are supported in their roles as their children’s first and most important teachers and are shown ways to share language with their children.

Storytogether® Goals:

• To invite adults and children to share in the joy of language play and storytelling
• To demonstrate ways to encourage early literacy growth in young children
• To encourage adults to learn new ways to build their children’s language and early literacy learning skills at home
• To provide language activities for those who are new to the English language
